On October 22, 2025, NYPD 30th Precinct Crime Prevention Officer P.O. Andres Ruiz came to River View Towers 50+ Club’s last meeting of the year to answer cooperator’s questions about scams targeting seniors. It was a very informative and lively presentation. Officer Ruiz provided a helpful link to the NYPD’s Crime Prevention and Safety Tips where you can find videos, flyers in multiple languages, and additional links to even more information (see page). Officer Ruiz is also the Older Adult Liaison for River View Towers with the Department for the Aging. Let’s let him know that all of us here at RVT are thankful to him for his service!
